“Roving Sundays”

(The opportunity to invite others to one of your favourite pubs)

Here’s a new opportunity to get out and about in your Morgan. A Programme of Events i in order to provide even more opportunities to meet up with Cranmog friends.
 
Cranmog members have an excellent record of organising events from large ones like Mog16 to smaller ones like Spring Saunters and similar. A Programme of Sunday Pub Lunches (“Roving Sundays”) at locations of your choice. So if this idea appeals to you then please consider the following three questions:-

  • Do you have first-hand experience of a pub or hotel which offers a decent Sunday Lunch Menu?
 
  • Is there on-site parking at the pub, or is space available in nearby streets?
 
  • Is it located within reasonable travelling distance for some UK Cranmog Members?
                                                                                                     
 
If you can answer ‘yes’ to all of the above then please consider being a Roving Sunday Event Organiser on a one-off basis. If interested, or would like more details, then please register your initial interest as explained below.​ Any questions can be answered together with help on next steps in order that Cranmog can develop a Programme of Roving Sundays for the good weather months.
 
FYI: -

  • This proposed Programme of events will be in addition to our normal monthly Noggin and all other Cranmog events planned.
 
  • Once a draft list of Organisers for Roving Sundays has been compiled then the proposed date for each event will be ratified by the Cranmog Event Co-ordinator (Sue Hartgrove).
 
  • Organisers will be asked to co-ordinate total numbers wishing to attend their particular Event to ensure numbers do not exceed the agreed seating capacity set for that specific Event.
 
  • Organisers will not normally be expected to manage any money transactions as attendees will be encouraged to book directly with the Pub and pay the Pub directly in line with the relevant payment arrangements, i.e. make payment on arrival or at the end of the meal.
