How you can organise a RAC Event
Cranmog proposes to experiment with a series of “Rock-up And Chat” events.
The number of events we hold will be entirely up to the membership, so please do not hold back in selecting your venue. Please note that a RAC event is not meant to replace our monthly Noggin or any other Cranmog event.
How you can organise a RAC
1. Identify a venue that can offer the following:-
a, Refreshments / light snacks and facilities including a car park. National Trust places offer all these and can act as a guide for you, but there are lots of alternatives to NT.
b, Select somewhere where members can drive to and that can accommodate a Group Visit on the relevant date of your choosing and time around morning coffee, or lunch or afternoon tea.Potential added Extras – could be perhaps include the opportunity for a scenic walk, view a place of interest on site or nearby etc
2. Choose a weekday or weekend date at least one month in advance. Agree this date with Sue Hartgrove to ensure it does not conflict with any other major Cranmog or MSCC events ([email protected] 07957 466094)
3. Send by email details of the proposed Event to Jim Scaife [email protected] and he will up-date the Events page of the Cranmog Website. He will also forward a link to the Cranmog Secretary for marketing to our membership. There is no need for you to create a new poster.
